I'm really happy to be an owner of a new Maverick and took my first 60 mile trip to check it out today.(love it) Its just that sometimes it's so frustrating being prepared and knowledgeable of a process and still feel like you just got punched in the gut. that I would have been more pissed about. So did I get what I should or could have as far as the final price? I feel I did not, but I also had no crazy mark up, no BS window etching, no interior protection etc. Re printed the paperwork again and had the zero/36 month offer. I said nope I'm price protected to the offers that were available at the time I ordered. ![]() And then when I received the payment break down the zero/36 month offer wasn't on the sheet. X plan price is the final price, before additional incentives or discounts. A Plan Pricing is for direct employees and their immediate family members. Every Ford and Lincoln vehicle invoice printed by the Ford Motor Company has the A Plan and the X Plan price printed in the lower center section. I pointed out that I should be price protected and my salesman shut down on me and was no help. X Plan Pricing is 4 percent above the invoiced dealer cost shown on the vehicle invoice. ![]() I don't believe he fully utilized the vincent(weather intentional or not) that mentioned because the final offer had a 225 price level vs 220 when I ordered it. I did not mention x-plan when I ordered so this was a surprise to him, and yes I do understand that they could have denied me because of this. Sales manager insisted that the x-plan was just that "the x-plan" and that's what I got. I picked up my Maverick yesterday (8 Mar) and we went back and forth about X-plan. Ford announced X-Plan will not be accepted on the Bronco nor any hot vehicles like the Raptor, Shelby Mustang, etc.
